It is very important that if you have bought a ticket for the event that the £15 you paid is gift aided.
Otherwise the government will tax the charity 25%. Which is £3.75 pp
So if we have 220 people at £3.75 that’s £825 that the government will take as their cut.
So please download the form for you and your friends. Here
You can post it back to Alison or bring it on the night
Thanks

Yes its true we are…. and we now have a waiting list.
We’ve got over two hundred people coming to this event, so I think its going to be a great night.
So thanks to all who have bought their tickets and we look forward to seeing you on the night. I know Michael is getting rather excited and is getting geared up with a few choice tunes for the night.

Trevor Youens, who we have mentioned here before, has now given us details of the match tickets he is very generously given for the auction.
The tickets are for Saturday 6th March.
This would be a good item to bid for, but bear in mind it is a week after our event.
Thanks again Trevor

As I have written elsewhere… There are going to be only 220 tickets available for this event and we are nearly sold out.
Cash is king and we need your money today and not the promise that you will buy.
So, if you have contacted Alison and said you want 6 tickets, those tickets could very easily be sold to someone else..Harsh I know, but we have had so many promises from people wanting to buy, yet haven’t sent the cheque.
So we’ve had to get tough..I know, I know… its not fair, but Alison is getting calls every day from people wanting tickets and at present we have the money in for 190…. So…
If you have asked for tickets to be put by, now is the time to send the cheque.
So please do not delay, we don’t want to fall out with anyone over this, but we do need you to act strightaway. Because the demand is greater this year and we’d love to see you there.
Sean
Ps. We are still looking for prizes for the auction and raffle…What could you offer
PPS. If you wish to comment on this item or any other on this blog, please doooo..We’d love a little interaction

Just heard that my neice Claire has put up for raffle a prize of 2 hours of ironing.
She runs her own ironing service, which I can vouch for called Iron Angels.
She collects, Irons and delivers you ironing back to you in pristine condition. A great service.
Her website is here
Well done Claire
So can you donate anything?
If you can, please call Alison. All her details are on the contact page.

A big thankyou to Trevor Youens.
Trevor is not able to come on the night, but still he has donated to two Arsenal tickets for the auction.
Trevor did the same last year and I think we raised over £200 for the tickets(not sure exactly how much).
Trevor is a big Arsenal fan..a Gooner, as they are called in polite circles, but in other circles, there are other names!!!! So its not easy for him to give up these tickets, as he like to go to every home game if he can..
His wife Maria is coming with her friends, so she can report back to him on how much his kind gesture has made.
Thanks again Trevor

A big shout out to Phil Atkinson.
Phil has donated a mini-note laptop computer.
Now I don’t know about you, but I think this would make a lovely gift for someone.
So don’t be shy, bring your cash on the night and…… spend some of it on some of these fabulous auction items.
Which reminds me…What could you donate.
Last year my neice Claire donated two hours of Ironing, (she runs her own successful Ironing service www.ironangels.co.uk) worth £25, which we put into our raffle. Simple but it raised money for a great cause.
So What You Got!!
Could you ask your company for an item or small service, giving something away may well introduce that person to your company and they could turn into long term customers.
Fink about it
